YouTube does not store or stream lossless audio. All YouTube audio is lossy (compressed). Converting a YouTube video to .flac simply creates a larger file container containing the same low-quality lossy audio.
YouTube’s Terms of Service (Section 5.1) explicitly forbid downloading content unless a download button is visible. The platform is designed for streaming, not archiving.
