You must have the 32-bit version of Stardew Valley installed. On Windows, this is automatic if you install the game to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stardew Valley . Steam defaults to 64-bit on modern PCs; you must force the 32-bit branch.
