Their investigation leads them to a secluded, dilapidated building where they discover that the kidnapper is Lajja Shankar Pandey (Ashutosh Rana), a former schoolteacher who believes he is an incarnation of the goddess Durga’s devotee, performing nar bali (human sacrifice) to achieve immortality.
