Sandbox games are a type of video game that offers players a high degree of freedom to explore and interact with the game world. Unlike many other types of games, sandbox games often don't have a linear storyline or structured objectives. Instead, players are given the freedom to do as they wish within the game's world. This can include building structures, exploring the environment, or engaging in combat in a non-linear fashion.

Sandboxels is not a game that typically needs an “unblocked” version; it is already widely permitted in educational settings due to its clear academic value. Use the official source for safety and full features.

Sandboxels is a free, open-source (also called a pixel simulation or particle simulator). Developed by R74n, it runs entirely in a web browser using JavaScript/HTML5. Players place different elements (sand, water, fire, metal, plants, electricity, etc.) onto a grid to see how they interact—fire melts ice, water puts out fire, plants grow from seeds, electricity travels through metal, etc.
