Bringing Liberty City to the Dreamcast wasn't just a matter of copy-pasting code. The Dreamcast only has —half of what the PlayStation 2 had. To make this work, a dedicated team of homebrew developers (known as the DCA3 project ) spent years reverse-engineering the game to fit within these tight limits.

No CDI image exists that offers the full Liberty City, missions, radio stations, or working save files.

If you want the game to look as good as possible, playing on the emulator is the best method. It allows you to increase resolution beyond what the real Dreamcast can produce.
