Version 17 introduced several commands to fix common UI bugs, such as disappearing dialogue boxes.
If the fix is applied but issues persist, check the following:
Ensure your base AutoCAD installation is fully updated. COVADIS 17.1h is most stable on AutoCAD 2021-2023.
While the spindle is out, replace the bearings. Even if they feel okay, if they have 20+ years of use, they are living on borrowed time.
