The inaugural season introduces the Clover Kingdom, a society strictly stratified by magical ability. The story centers on Asta, a boy born without a trace of mana, and Yuno, a prodigy gifted with a four-leaf grimoire. While Yuno joins the elite Golden Dawn, Asta is recruited into the "Black Bulls," a squad of misfits led by the destructive Yami Sukehiro. This season focuses on world-building and establishing the "zero-to-hero" theme, culminating in the battle against the Eye of the Midnight Sun at the Nean Village.
