Akruti 7.0 is a comprehensive software suite designed for Indian language publishing. The "Odia" version is tailored specifically for the Odia script. Unlike standard Unicode fonts (such as Nirmala UI or Kalinga), Akruti uses its own proprietary (often referred to as "Akruti encoding" or "Type-1 encoding"). This means that a document typed in Akruti 7.0 Odia will not display correctly on a system that does not have the exact same Akruti fonts installed.
